How do you get depression when life is so good?

I'm just an average bloke, who had depression. After two years of research and with the help of a naturopath, I quickly solved my depression. I'm not a health practitioner, but I do reckon I'm a pretty good researcher. I happen to have a University Degree as a Civil Engineer, but like I said, I'm really just an average bloke.  Dont hold it against me. I tried a lot of things to fix my depression some of them had marginal benefits, but nothing worked like fixing my gut.

I am going to challenge you to give everything a try, and keep trying, and make small changes that will have massive benefits.

I will give you some examples. None of these things will "Fix " your depression on their own or even together, but they will help:

1. Filter your water (Tastes better, reduce chlorine and fluoride)

2, Eat butter not margarine. (Tastes better, more omega 3 less Omega 6)

3. Eat Grass fed not feedlot beef (Tastes better, more omega 3 less Omega 6)

4. Drink regular milk not low fat milk (Tastes better, More omega 3 less omega 6, less processing)

5. Drink regular beer not IPA (Tastes better, IPA is full of estrogens makes you weepy)

6. Eat wholemael bread not white bread (More fibre)

7. Eat or drink only regular sugar. (tastes better, artificial sweeteners add to the toxic load and fool your body)

8. Eat fresh eggs. (Taste good,Full of omega 3 and good cholesterol)

9. Eat Fish (lots of omega 3 and good cholesterol)

10. Reduce sugar (sugar is empty calories and low in nutrients)

about You

I know you are just like me. You could be older or younger. You could be fatter or thinner. You could be richer or poorer. You might love God or not. You might exercise a bit, a lot, or not enough. You may eat better or healthier than your neighbours, or you may not. It really doesn’t matter because if you are reading this website you are just like me.

You don’t have all the answers, but you try hard to be a good person, you try to do your best.

You go to work, you have a social life, put food on the table ,you try to comply with the law. You think you are a pretty decent person, but you still have depression.

Fact is, you are a decent person if you have arrived here! You are looking to improve your life and the lives of your loved ones. My pledge to you is that I am going to help you solve your depression! I am not going to support you emotionally or tell you it's all going to be allright, I want to fix you.

I am going to do my best to fix you and it will be easy and inexpensive. That's hard to believe I know, but I've done it myself and I have helped others, so I know my methods work. It's all got to do with your gut health and your diet, but I promise I won't be telling you to eat mung beans or go vegetarian, or give up drinking, or tell you to buy my special formulated herbs.

Most of the things I will suggest to assist you can be purchased in your local supermarket and chemist/drugstore. I cured myself very quickly. In fact, at the risk of scaring you off right now, I experienced major changes overnight once I got onto the right path.

It's important to understand that I have walked the path that you are on. I have had depression. I can speak from first-hand experience.

I am also a layman, I can say anything I want (pretty much). I don’t belong to any health association and I am not selling any products. My advice will be absolutely focussed on your mental health. If that solves other health problems for you (WHICH IT WILL) then that is only a happy by-product.

I don’t have to wait for "Big Pharma" or a university to conduct an expensive double-blind placebo-controlled study on a medicine or supplement trial that takes years. I speak from my own experience - the things that worked for me and the things that worked for others I've helped.

I've learnt a lot from people that treat depression, but have never had it. They do their best but they can't fully understand your mindset.

I can relate to your situation because I had it and now I don’t. I don’t ever want to go there again and I want you out of that situation as fast as possible.

MY MOMENT of Enlightenment

Once I found probiotics and started healing my gut it was like an awakening for me. But it's not that simple, there's much more to the story. Some probiotics work for some but not for others. There's also many things that can help those probiotics do their job.

All this is going to cost you is the time to read plus the price for admission to my years of research.

As far as I am concerned I have found the treatment for almost all depression - not bipolar, not psychosis - but regular (unipolar) depression and anxiety. The steps and procedures I outline for controling depression are not difficult to follow and there’s plenty of science behind it all. I have found it’s easy, its pretty fast and not expensive.

If you feel your depression was caused by child abuse, concentration camps, jail time or a really bad relationship, or a disabled child, you should seek professional help, even though what I am saying may still help you.

But I reckon most of us are just average people doing the right things in life, yet still suffering depression regardless. I'm here to help !

There are plenty of articles and scientific studies that back up my claims. I will refer to some of these in the subscriber section. I want to advise that all of information I will present is available on the internet and elsewhere. You can spend many hours researching general health and mental health topics and you may eventually find the right information free of charge, but no doubt it will have cost you a considerable amount time and effort.

I’d like to make it clear that everything I say will relate back to your mental health (Depression and Anxiety). I will save you many valuable hours as I have first-hand experience in dealing with depression. I'll also do my best not to preach to you and not to stop you from doing your favourite things (unless your favourite thing is drink a bottle of whiskey every night).

It's not a Placebo

Just to prove its not placebo, here's how I have helped a child and a dog. A DOG?! Read below

Brutus The Dog

(Name changed to protect the not so innocent)

How did I know the dog had depression? Well the dog didn’t have depression, he had anxiety, which is closely related to depression. This dog is/was a man-eater. Myself and many others were very scared of him.

The dog’s owner (my sister in law) was going to go to the vet to get him doggie tranquilisers because none of her neighbours would visit her for fear of the dog. I said "How about trying my probiotics first?"

I put this dog on daily probiotics and within a week he was giving me a lick instead of barking at me. That saved her about $150 in vet fees and medicine.

Daisy, the Five-year-old girl

In my opinion, this little girl had anxiety. She was about 5 years old and so shy she wouldn’t speak to anyone but her parents and her brother.

She wouldn’t speak to her teachers at school and wouldn’t even look at me, and I would see her more than once per week. I gave this child some children's probiotics and I noticed her demeanour change within 30 minutes! She still didn’t talk to me but she made eye contact and started looking around with interest. The next day she gave me a hug when I dropped the family at the airport to go to Melbourne.

About a year later the family finally decided to give her probitics every day. Now we can’t shut her up! Before the probiotics the teachers at school had warned the family that if she didn’t start talking to them, then she would not be able to move up to the second grade. We knew there was nothing physically or mentally wrong with her, but the shyness was impenetrable. Not anymore!

I don’t pull any punches. I say it how I see it. Depression doesn’t discriminate: rich or poor, black or white, gay or straight.

Statistics show that women are more likely to get depression. Its not a huge difference but it is there in the figures. Don’t believe it? I think the statistics show that more women seek treatment for depression whereas men prefer to suffer in silence. That is their way. Women want to talk about it, men don’t.

Fix your Gut/ Don’t take poison

If I told you that going vegetarian for a week would solve your depression would you do it?

Of course you would. Don’t worry I won’t.

If I told you to stop eating wheat for a week would solve your depression would you do it?

I reckon you would. Don’t worry I won’t.

If I told you that a one hour walk every day would solve your depression, would you do it?

Perhaps you would, if there was some supporting evidence.

Well I’m going to tell you to stop taking poison and fix your gut. How about that?

You probably think you don’t take poison and already have a balanced diet but sorry, if you only knew.....

I will give you an example. I call sunscreen POISON.

My sunscreen at home has listed ingredients like Octyl Methoxycinnamate.

The following quotes from Wikipedia give an explanation to why this is poison.

"Octyl Methoxycinnamate.....may potentially damage human DNA and cause genome mutations which may lead to serious health risks. Ecological impact - Concern about effects on coral reefs resulted in a bill in the state legislature of Hawaii to limit use of sunscreens containing octyl methoxycinnamate and oxybenzone."

"Octocrylene -This organic compound can penetrate into the skin where it acts as a photosensitizer. This results in an increased production of free radicals under illumination"

"Oxybenzone - Is also found in nail polish, fragrances, hairspray, and cosmetics as a photostabilizer. Despite its photoprotective qualities, much controversy surrounds oxybenzone because of its possible hormonal and photoallergenic effects, leading many countries to regulate its use. In a 2008 study of participants ages 6 and up, oxybenzone was detected in 96.8% of urine samples. Oxybenzone is particularly penetrative because it is the most lipophilic of the three most common UV filters. When applied topically, UV filters, such as oxybenzone, are absorbed through the skin, metabolized, and excreted primarily through the urine."

"Benzophenones in sunscreens have been linked to coral bleaching. A 2015 study published in the Archives of Environmental Contamination and Toxicology directly linked oxybenzone to the declining health of coral reefs."

Quote from Wellness Mama .com

"This new research by the EWG reveals that the chemicals commonly used in sunscreen are endocrine disruptors, estrogenic and may interfere with thyroid and other hormone processes in the body. The most common sunscreen chemical, Oxybenzone, was found in 96% of the population by a recent study by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. This is especially alarming since oxybenzone is considered an endocrine disruptor, can reduce sperm count in men and may contribute to endometriosis in women. The EWG warns against using oxybenzone, especially on children or pregnant/breastfeeding women."

Even more alarming?

" Of the 1,400+ sunscreens tested by the EWG, only 5% met their safety standards and over 40% were listed as potentially contributing to skin cancer."

So if you are using sunscreen regularly not only may you be disrupting your hormones and reducing your sperm count (guys) but you may actually be increasing you risk of skin cancer. I thought that’s why you were using sunscreen in the first place?

I don’t know why we think that we can quite happily put harsh chemicals on our skin but would not dream of eating them. What’s the difference, they still get into your bloodstream. And just because you CAN eat it or digest it doesn’t mean it’s not poison either.

“The dose makes the poison” is a famous saying from history (Paracelsus circa 1550). We can all ingest arsenic and cyanide and we do so quite regularly. They don’t kill us. But do it often enough and they will. Would it not be better to limit those things?

I mean X-rays are a great lifesaving device, but you only have one every now and then. That’s why the X-ray photographer hides behind a lead screen every time. There is plenty of poison out there in today's world. It makes sense to limit your exposure.

When it comes to a tough organ, your gut is about as tough as it gets. I mean first food gets put into a hydrochloric acid bath of pH 2.5 which would easily burn your skin. Then it is pounded on by muscles and then attacked by bacteria. It its rejected you soon know about it because it comes flying out one end or another.

The tricky thing about modern food and chemicals is that they can get past your body's defences and wreak havoc.

I even offer a moneyback guarantee if you are genuinely disappointed with the results.

So for the cost of a box of beer or a bottle of scotch you’ll know what I know, and I spent 5 years researching, paying for tests and actioning my theories. I was a human guinea pig.

Setting up and maintaining this website and the information within also costs me plenty of time and money and I have to pay for it somehow. Remember, I'm not trying to make my fortune, I already have a decent income, I'm just trying to help.

Take control of your mental health for the cost of a case of beer

Serotonin is what makes your brain “happy”. 80% to 90% of serotonin is produced in the gut. Depression is your body shutting down non-essential services to survive, like being happy.

I don’t pull any punches. I’m going to tell you my theories on causes of depression and anxiety - and I have first-hand experience. I will give you my solutions and lead you step by step to your solutions.

I am not going to tell you to stop drinking, or preach about a vegan diet (but you can do both if you wish).

All for the cost of a case of beer.
