Antibiotics are everywhere
Antibiotic Definition: AGAINST LIFE.
By now you may realise that Antibiotics are not my favourite drugs. But I do take them when necessary and I certainly like to know what's in them when I am taking them. Do you know? Maybe, maybe not, let's take a look.
In the subscriber section on Triclosan I explain it is possible you are taking antibiotics every day without knowing it such as that found in toothpaste. But they are not just in your toothpaste, antibiotics are everywhere.
When I discovered Triclosan (an antibiotic), I threw out my toothpaste. Then I hunted for other sources in the house and found 7 products with Triclosan or Trichlorcarban. They are even in underwear and sports wear clothing.
Why is Triclosan there? Because it kills bacteria. I am not against Triclosan, I just want to take my antibiotics when I need them that’s all.
Now I recently heard that there may have been a ban on Triclosan in 2017 in the USA but only for soap and body wash. I don’t know about other countries. Apparently Triclosan was safe 10 years ago in hand soaps, but it's not any more. It's still ok to stick it in your mouth though according to the FDA.
Nature also provides us with antibiotics. Like synthetic antibiotics, some are good and some are bad. If used wisely they can be helpful to your gut and possibly your depression.
Natural antibiotics include:
- Vinegar (not that clear stuff but real vinegar)
Sometimes its possible you have more than 15% bad bacteria or just a low level infection that won't go away until you deal with it.
This is where natural antibiotics can help.
